Armstrong, first podiatric surgeon to deliver Neurosurgery Grand Rounds @KeckMedUSC

David G. Armstrong, Professor of Surgery and Director of the Southwestern Academic Limb Salvage Alliance at Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California (USC) became the first podiatric surgeon to deliver grand rounds for the University’s Department of Neurosurgery. “David is one of the major recruits to USC over this past year and having him here is nothing short of transformative”, noted Charles Liu, Professor of Neurosurgery and Director of the USC Neurorestoration Institute. “Being able to walk upright is a major part of what makes us human. Our groups are now working together to better make that possible. “From sensory substitution devices to reconstructive surgery to next generation implantables and wearables, the future between our teams is literally limitless.”, noted Armstrong.
