David G. Armstrong, Professor of Surgery and Director of the Southern Arizona Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA) at the University of Arizona represented the United States at the 10th Anniversary Almelo Diabetic Foot Symposium in the Netherlands.

“I was honored to participate with so many close friends to look back over the past decade of work in this area”, noted Armstrong. “To have this field so prominently featured in a meeting with such longevity is a terrific tribute to Prof. Sjef van Baal and the other organizers.” Armstrong joined all keynote speakers from the past decade in a meeting that included lectures ranging from infectious diseases to vascular reconstruction.
