The attached is a note I just received from my colleague Karel Bakker regarding our long-time friend and international ambassador for amputation prevention, Althea “Ali” Foster.
I just heard that Ali Foster has passed away last night January 2nd 2011 at 7.15 PM in the hospital. She was suffering of cancer.
Very sad news. She was a worthy and impressive warrior in the battle of the Diabetic Foot!
