@UofA’s Armstrong Named to Scientific Advisory Board of the Amputee Coalition @Bio5 @APMAtweets @AmputeesUSA #Beardown

David G. Armstrong, DPM, MD, PhD, Professor of Surgery and Director of the University of Arizona’s Southern Arizona Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA) has been named to the Scientific Medical Advisory Committee (SciMAC) of the Amputee Coalition.

“I am not only honored, but thrilled to have been named to be part of the Coalition’s SciMAC.” noted Dr. Armstrong. “The ability to be a part of the group that drives the science, research, development and public-private partnerships in this area at this point in time is, frankly, a privilege.” The Coalition is a world-wide education, advocacy and research group dedicated to empower people with limb loss and to promote limb loss prevention.
