For more than 20 years, we at SALSA-iCAMP have proposed models and posited that, one day, insurance companies might work with health tracking companies to promote better health and lower overall risk. Ladies and gents, that day has come. Buckle up. Better health, less privacy– but an overall win?

The trade: more activity = lower premiums.  Would you allow for more tracking if there was the possibility for a greater insurance discount?

You don't need to run a marathon — or wear a gorilla suit — to get a discount on John Hancock's new life insurance program. But at least one of them may help.
