Prof. Marvin Levin, MD, RIP

Lawrence Harkless, David Armstrong, Marvin. Levin, Jeffrey Robbins, Lee Sanders and Peter Sheehan in 2007

Marvin Levin, Professor of Medicine at St. Louis University College of Medicine has passed. This was a great and good man who, in addition to creating the first and seminal text on the diabetic foot, was instrumental in mentoring most every key person involved in the field. While there is not much to say that hasn’t already been said about Marv this past week, I think we all can keep him immortal by remembering him and his innate capacity for goodness.

David G. Armstrong

Dedicated to amputation prevention, wound healing, diabetic foot, biotechnology and the intersection between medical devices and consumer electronics.
