More than 1000 delegates from across Latin America descended upon Mexico City last week for the 2019 Endovascular Latin America Symposium (HENDOLAT). In addition to learning the latest in state-of-the art endovascular and tissue repair/lower extremity reconstruction techniques, participants were able to hear from pioneers in interdisciplinary limb preservation. This featured David G. Armstrong and Joseph Mills, who founded SALSA, Jeff Ross and Miguel Montero Baker of Baylor’s STEP program, Giacomo Clerici and Andrea Casini of Bergamo Italy’s renowned unit as well as Fermin Martinez de Jesus from the San Elian Limb Salvage Center.
