Barber-Surgeons: Once Amputation Providers, now Amputation Preventers.

The irony is not lost on us at SALSA that Barber-Surgeons were the original amputation providers. Now they are serving the opposite role– prevention. Here’s a link for the great ongoing work by the Black Barbershop Program to educate patrons and their families about diabetes and its complications.
