We at SALSA are fascinated with gadgets that have a practical and philosophical purpose. This may be one such technology. From Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), we show you wearable augmented reality for training. Imagine teaching a surgical resident or fellow a surgical technique. Now imagine teaching that fellow a technique– and treating a patient– both of whom you have never physically met.
