In a unique and intimate setting, David G. Armstrong, Professor  of Surgery and Director of the Southern Arizona Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA) delivered a reprise of his lecture “Repair, Regeneration and Replacement Revisited” to a group of 75 Senior Scientists who now call Arizona Home. Armstrong noted that “to be in the same room with so many brilliant minds, while utterly humbling, is really just inspiring beyond words. The discussion after this talk could have gone on well into the next morning!” The Arizona Senior Academy, an affiliate of the University of Arizona, was established to provide retired scientists a way to continue pursuits to better society.
