David G. Armstrong, Professor of Surgery and Director of the University of Arizona's Southern Arizona Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA) chaired the limb salvage section of the historic World Union of Wound Healing Societies symposium in Yokohama, Japan this week.
“It was an honor to join my partner, Joe Mills and also Lee Rogers along with thousands of colleagues, worldwide at this meeting”, noted Dr. Armstrong. “I think the future is bright for wound repair and regenerative medicine”
This was the first time the Congress of the World's leading Wound Healing Societies was held in Asia.
