India’s National Diabetic Foot Education Programme: Ready for Launch

The  “National Diabetic foot Education Program” is now being planned  in India.  In all some 1000 physicians will be trained through 20  workshops  (50 delegates for each workshop) across the nation.


Our friend and colleague Sharad Pendsey is serving as the Course Director, with Professors Dr. Ashok Kumar Das Vijay Vishwanathan, Chennai  Assistant Directors.  The Project will have approximately 40  Regional Faculty. The Workshop will have plenty of interactive sessions, live case discussions in addition to theory lectures on the subject of diabetic foot.

The first workshops are to start on 17-18 May 2014 with all completed by the end of November.
