SALSA’s Armstrong First Podiatric Surgeon to Keynote Peruvian Diabetes Association

David G. Armstrong, Professor of Surgery and Director of the Southern Arizona Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA) at the University of Arizona became the first Podiatric Surgeon to Keynote the Peruvian Diabetes Association. Held in Lima this past week, Armstrong lectures on topics ranging from cutting edge reconstructive surgical techniques to national and international data supporting development of limb salvage teams to treat patients with diabetes.  The symposium attracted hundreds of physicians and scientists from throughout South America.
