David G. Armstrong, Professor of Surgery, founder and co-Director of the Southwestern Academic Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA) at Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California delivered the keynote address at the 2018 UCSF Diabetic Limb Salvage Symposium in San Francisco this weekend. “It was a privilege to again participate in this symposium”, noted Armstrong, “To share experiences and data with this great group of surgeon scientists is invigorating”. Armstrong’s keynote and three other communications covered a broad range of topics his Los Angeles-based team is working on– from tissue augmentation to wearable robotics. This was the second time that Dr. Armstrong served as keynote speaker, having been given the honor during the inaugural 2016 Symposium.

Awesome!
