@USC Professor David G. Armstrong Awarded the Raine 2019 Visiting Professorship Medal at University of Western Australia, Perth

In a ceremony following Graduation at Perth’s University of Western Australia today, David G. Armstrong, Professor of Surgery and Director of University of Southern California’s Southwestern Academic Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA) was awarded the Raine Foundation’s 2019 Visiting Professorship by UWA’s Vice Chancellor for Research, Prof. Tim Colmer. The award is intended to foster long-term partnerships between researchers, worldwide. Armstrong, a surgeon-researcher with an interest in limb preservation in diabetes, wound healing, and human movement, received the award in 2013 and is the first podiatric surgeon to receive the honor and amongst a very few to have received it twice.
