@USC Professor Armstrong Keynotes Polish Wound Healing Symposium, Features Diabetic Limb Preservation with Focus on Ukraine @ALPSlimb @KeckSchool_USC @USC_Vascular

David G. Armstrong, Professor of Surgery and Director of the Southwestern Academic Limb Salvage Alliance at USC, joined more than 500 colleagues in Gdansk, Poland for the 20th Jubilee of the Polish Scientific Congress on Wound Healing. His lecture focused on the state of play for efforts in limb preservation, worldwide. This was followed by a session featuring local efforts in care in Eastern Europe. This included a lecture by Ukrainian surgeon Ihor Vitenko, who left his practice in Belgium to dedicate himself to treating Ukraine’s war wounds.
