Prof. David G. Armstrong Delivers Virtual Lecture on Global Impact and Opportunities in Diabetic Limb Preservation to Taiwan Society for Plastic Surgery

LOS ANGELES, CA On December 18, 2022, Professor of Surgery and Director of the Southwestern Academic Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA) at Keck School of Medicine of USC, David G. Armstrong, delivered a virtual lecture to the 2022 Symposium of the Taiwan Society for Plastic Surgery (TSPS) held in Taipei.

The TSPS, which represents over 700 plastic surgeons registered in Taiwan, was pleased to welcome Armstrong as a speaker at their annual symposium to help it celebrate its 40th anniversary. Armstrong’s lecture, entitled “The Diabetic Foot: The Global State of Play in 2022 and beyond,” focused on the current state and future prospects for the management and treatment of diabetic foot conditions.

As the most published and cited expert in the field, Armstrong provided valuable insights and knowledge to the TSPS community and attendees. His lecture was well received and praised by those in attendance.
