Prevalence of and Trends in Diabetes Among Adults in the United States, 1988-2012

The prevalence of diabetes is now approximately 14% in adults in the USA.This study uses National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data collected between 1988-1994 and 1999-2012 to assess prevalence of and trends in total, diagnosed, and undiagnosed diabetes among adults in the United States.
