David G. Armstrong, Professor of Surgery and Neurological Surgery, was honored along with 94 other members of the University of Southern California faculty as “highly ranked scholars” across all disciplines. Armstrong is the most highly cited scholar in diabetic foot ulcers, worldwide and leads the Department of Surgery in general. “This is a reflection on the great work of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to eliminating preventable amputation over the next generation,” noted Prof. Armstrong.
