@USC Podiatric Surgeon Armstrong Named World’s Top Ranked Expert on Diabetic Foot From 2011-2021 by Expertscape

David G. Armstrong, Professor of Surgery, co-Director of the Limb Preservation Program and Director of the Southwestern Academic Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA) was named the world’s top expert on the diabetic foot for years 2011-2021. The ranking, based on publications and citations of publications, was tabulated in data released today. Armstrong, who has nearly 600 peer reviewed publications that have been cited more than 54,000 times, was also ranked first under the topic of skin ulcers and 6th for wound healing.
