The manuscript titled “Evaluation and Management of Diabetes-related Foot Infections,” authored by Nicolas W. Cortes-Penfield, David G. Armstrong, Meghan B. Brennan, Maya Fayfman, Jonathan H. Ryder, Tze-Woei Tan, and Marcos C. Schechter, has been recognized as one of the five best publications in the IDSA’s flagship journal, Clinical Infectious Diseases, for 2023. This significant accomplishment highlights the authors’ contributions to the field of diabetes-related foot infections. The institutions involved include the University of Nebraska Medical Center, the University of Southern California, the University of Wisconsin, Emory University, and Grady Memorial Hospital.
